Presented under the shiny light of the Venice beach sign in California was the latest collection from Kim Jones, menswear designer for Dior since 2018. The designer is infamous for his immaculate collaborations. This time Jones asked for the help of LVMH winner Eli Russell Linnetz and his brand ERL to design the latest capsule collection with him.

The collection is a perfect dialogue between everything that is Dior, ERL, and California. The perfect tailoring which is Dior, the bright colours and almost animated styling that is ERL, mixed with a little bit of old school street style from California. The show consisted of a mix of textures, denim, shiny silks, and glitter-infused knitwear styled in a lazy laidback chicness. Making it a diverse and unique collection than can be styled for many and multiple locations and events.

The contrasting styling of warm and harsh neon kept you on your toes. When the familiar basketball shorts start to give you a form of comfort, the styling of the hair would give you a wake-up call. It was a mix of cultures, pushing you to your limits whit cutting edge styling and the pulling in of the audience with a spectacular show. The show was the most exciting and best menswear collection in a long time.
