Courrèges’ SS24 campaign imagery is driven by the passion of music. Ever-present in Nicolas Di Felice’s process and inspirations, music is the thread that unites the series’ eclectic cast of top models, the rhythm of their black silhouettes resounding in the stillness of a white page like an abstract partition.

This bold reinterpretation of Courrèges’ visual codes – the white heritage background, the airborne muse, the graphic styling – is captured by world-renowned photographer and director David Sims. The imagery’s movement echoes his first collaboration with the House, which saw a cast of head-banging beauties animate the FW22 collection with their wild, untethered choreography.

A nod to the DIY graphics of fanzines, these digital collages bring together a silhouette and a portrait, motion and emotion. The raw and spontaneous atmosphere of the compositions brings focus to the season’s key looks, emphasising the personality of each character.

Among the sequence of portraits, the House introduces its first campaign for its new icon inspired by a House archive; the Holy Bag, that can be seen in sleek black and oxblood leather and embossed faux croc.

In this minimalistic and razor-sharp expression of individuality the campaign provides an intimate look into the women and men that inhabit the Courrèges universe and breathe life into Di Felice’s polyphonic vision.
