Club Med confirms their mountain development strategy with the opening of their first ever Resort in Charlevoix, Canada and the upcoming opening of a Resort in Utah, USA. Club Med thus marks its return to the mountains in North America. The project was led by Groupe Le Massif and marked by an interruption due to the global pandemic. After a little more than two years and 84 million euros, the Resorts are ready to be discovered. 

This brand new 4 trident Exclusive Collection Resort, which opened its doors on Friday, December 3, has something to offer every season to meet travelers' needs. From skiing and sports to hiking in the surroundings of the Resort. And Club Med wouldn’t be Club Med, without the possibility to enjoy some high-quality wellness activities.

During the opening ceremony, CEO Henri Giscard d'Estaing also announced the opening of a new Resort at Snowbasin in Huntsville, Utah, USA. This event marks the return of Club Med to the USA after more than 20 years, as well as the introduction of the first Exclusive Collection Resort in the USA.

With more than 20 mountain resorts in Canada, the French, Italian and Swiss Alps, as well as in Asia, Club Med can call itself the market leader in this category. Therefore, the brand aims to keep developing, and further expand their mountain resort offerings in the North American market.
