Clarks Originals has joined forces with Jorja Smith to reimagine the Desert Nomad as a mule. The British singer-songwriter first rose into the limelight with her debut studio album Lost and Found in 2018. She has since won a string of awards, including the BRITs Critics Choice Award, the BRIT Award for Best British Female Artist and a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist.

The new model has an upper in Sciarada EVOLO suede, which has been carefully crafted with a more sustainable footprint compared to traditional suede and complemented by recycled laces. Signature Clarks features come by way of meticulous topstitching and crepe soles. Dual-branded fobs in silver tone add a sleek finishing touch — capturing Jorja’s unique modern style. The style is available in all-black, with a white colourway launching exclusively on END.

“Clarks means so much to so many different groups of people – I’m excited to have the opportunity to add to that legacy. I wanted to work on a shoe model that is different, but above all wearable. Overall, my style is simple and laid-back, and the shoes reflect that. They are comfortable and casual but with a lot of individuality.” says Jorja.

The new collection is now available in shops and online.
