For Spring – Summer 2024, CAMPERLAB introduces its first campaign produced under the creative direction of Achilles Ion Gabriel, showcasing the latest footwear collection alongside the ready-to-wear assortment.

Shot by Dutch photographer Paul Kooiker – known for his thought-provoking, idiosyncratic, surrealist-inspired visual language rich in the use of light and shadow contrasts -, the campaign explores a dystopian landscape.

Set in a desolate space that was once a room, where colors have faded, decoration has fallen apart and only dust covers the surfaces, this dreamlike world comes alive as time and space cease to exist. The space simultaneously contains everything and nothing, a symbol of a present we cannot yet see but we can perceive. Set Designer is Shona Heath, nominated for an Academy Award for her work in Yorgos Lanthimos’s Poor Things.

Highlighting the most notorious shoes of the season – from the Tormenta sneaker to the Vamonos lace-up, the Venga high boot and the Pelotas Flota sandal -, the campaign features pieces from the unisex ready-to-wear collection, including denim styles with swerving digital patterns and faded dyes inspired by ideas of distortion and warped realities.

The campaign stars musician and producer Yves Tumor, known for his experimental, boundary-shattering approach to sound and his extravagant, glam-inspired style; and Brighton-born model Maggie Maurer, recognized for her otherworldly features and appearances on the catwalks of multiple prestigious brands.

CAMPERLAB’s Spring – Summer 2024 collection will be available on and through selected retailers from February 13th.
