This festive season, Burberry continues to explore the fun and anticipation of festive preparations through a bold Burberry lens with a film starring brand ambassador Jun Ji-hyun.

Beginning her journey, Jun Ji-hyun strides towards her day of celebration, the Frances bag tightly in tow. Moving with confidence, she imagines festive moments to come, each unfolding against an array of illuminations, spotlights leading her from one idea to the next.

The campaign features the iconic trench coat reimagined. The soft-shouldered Waterloo fit reworked in supple plonge leather. An oversized trench cut from signature bespoke gabardine and patterned with the Equestrian Knight Design in a tonal jacquard weave.

Timeless outerwear silhouettes are reshaped to modern proportions. A sumptuous coat in curly shearling dyed in a rich dark truffle brown, is cut to a relaxed fit and styled with exaggerated lapels. Layered underneath is a diamond- quilted jacket and coordinating skirt – both cut from dark brown waxed cotton and shaped to a slim fit – an ode to the British countryside. In ready-to-wear, a wool cashmere cardigan is intarsia knitted with farmyard animals motifs and loosely layered over a figure-hugging ribbed jersey dress with a peplum hem.

The spotlight on bags shines on signature shapes, elevated with dazzling seasonal details and tactile takes on house codes. The Lola boucle bag is woven with the archive beige Burberry Check or in black velvet that is hand-embellished with the Thomas Burberry Monogram and Equestrian Knight Design in crystals. Light-catching crystals also decorate a black leather TB Bag while the clean-lined Frances bag in black grainy leather offers a minimalist alternative.

In accessories, a Scottish-made oversized scarf in two-tone cashmere is jacquard-woven with the Equestrian Knight Design. Earrings sculpted to resemble chain links add the finishing touch.

Shoes feature more twists on convention, with boots explored in a variety of shapes and styles – a feminine approach to functional footwear.
