Bricks & Wood made their New Balance debut with an ode to their South Central Los Angeles roots. For this second collaboration with New Balance, the streetwear brand takes a global look at the idea and feeling of home. The Bricks & Wood x New Balance 9060 is inspired by the idea; “from grandma’s house to Paris, home is not just a place – it’s a feeling.” The new model takes visual elements inspired by the home of Bricks & Wood owner and founder Kacey Lynch’s grandmother.

“This collaboration takes you on a journey through all my experiences, from South Central to the rest of the world and everything in between. Wherever I go or wherever I end up, I will always be myself, I will always be home because I carry my community in my soul. Nothing will ever change, just the address,” says Bricks & Wood CEO and founder Kacey Lynch.

The 9060’s experimental, Y2K-inspired silhouette consists of gray spacer mesh topped with premium suede in off-white. The signature, segmented pod midsole construction features accents of bright green grass, for a touch of contrast to the neutral tones of the upper. Details and the unique addition of fuzzy laces round out a premium, yet comfortably worn design.
