Breguet pays homage to love with the new Classique Phase de Lune, whose dial, delicately decorated with white mother-of-pearl rubies. The watch is offered in a case, along with a red and a white mother-of-pearl strap that can be interchanged as desired.

Poetic and elegant, the new Classique Phase de Lune 9085 St-Valentine’s Day edition celebrates the festival of love with grace. Breguet numerals and six rubies alternate. The hours and minutes are indicated by the traditional apple hands in blued steel, the house’s signature. The mother-of-pearl on the dial is decorated with a very fine pattern, hand guilloche-ed by the craftsmen of the manufactory. The golden moon phase is at the height of 6 o’clock: hand-hammered and surrounded by a lacquered sky in midnight blue, and dotted with golden stars. The Breguet inscription is in an oval cartouche at 12 o’clock. Finally, the 30 mm white gold case and case appendages are decorated with 66 brilliant-cut diamonds. As with the recently unveiled Classique 8068, this watch is also offered with an interchangeable strap system. This mechanism is designed to change bracelets with ease and without tools thanks to a simple push button under the strap. This allows you to switch from one style to another in the blink of an eye.

The new Classique 9085BB is powered by calibre 537L which has 231 components. The gold rotor was hand guilloche edged with a circular barred grain motif. Its balance vibrates at a frequency of 3.5 Hz. The rhodium-plated automatic movement has a power reserve of 45 hours. It is equipped with an in-line Swiss lever escapement and a balance spring in silicon. Silicon has many properties. It is not only resistant to corrosion and wear, but also insensitive to the influence of magnetic fields. In this way, it improves the precision of the movement. Through the sapphire case bottom, one of Breguet’s most cherished skills can be admired. Decorations such as ‘anglage’ and ‘Côtes de Genève’ embellish the various parts of the timepiece. The case is water resistant to 3 bar (30 m).
