On the lasts days of 2022 and start of the new year,  the iconic location the ‘Gashouder’ was once again in the site of Awakenings. Expectations were high, the energy was increasing, and the lineup promised to make every night exceptional. And once again, Awakenings did not disappoint. The four events from the 29th of December till the 1st of January provided an unforgettable experience, and a phenomenal year transition. 

Already 25 years, Awakenings throws large-scale festivals and parties with spectacular light shows, unparalleled sound design, and mind-blowing stage design. It is internationally renowned as one of the best organisations when it comes to techno events, always aiming for a truly mesmerizing experience. 

This NYE edition ensured that every day was filled with a unique carefully curated lineup and mesmerizing light shows including fireworks to guarantee everyone had a memorable New Year’s Eve. The lineup included 999999999, Airod, Amelie Lens, DJ Rush, Ellen Allien, Farrago, Cynthia Spiering, Héctor Oaks, Nina Kraviz, Patrick Mason, Paula Temple, Rebekah, Adam Beyer, Grace Dahl, Ilario Alicante, Joris Voorn, Joyhauser, Pan-Pot, Daria Kolosova, Deniro, KI/KI, Kobosil, Richie Hawtin and SPFDJ.
