After five years, Armin van Buuren returns to Dutch soil with his solo concept This Is Me: Feel Again. During the Whitsun weekend from 2 to 5 June, Van Buuren will visit the Ziggo Dome for five spectacular events, of which the Saturday afternoon show will be accessible for all ages. The last time Armin van Buuren gave a solo show in the Netherlands was in 2017, during The Best Of Armin Only at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

Van Buuren has learned many lessons from his decades-long career as a leading dance artist. One of the most important lessons came from the unexpected halt that the covid pandemic inflicted on constant touring. Where the extremely busy life can easily make you less able to stay close to yourself as an artist, for Armin van Buuren it turned out to be essential for his development as an artist. The DJ has certainly not been idle and has released a lot of new music in the past two years, including Feel Something with Duncan Laurence, Hold On with Davina Michelle, and We Can Dance Again with Reinier Zonneveld. Naturally, he will be performing this music and many new ones.

This is not only a new chapter for Armin van Buuren as an artist, but it is also an unofficial kick-off of the chapter after the pandemic. “After two years without any performances on home soil, I can’t wait to see my Dutch fans again and get together on the dance floor. That connection is what it’s all about and what I have missed the most lately. I’m really looking forward to closing this period and performing some more great shows together with my wonderful fans.”

Due to the pandemic, the This Is Me shows were rescheduled twice before, and there are only a few last tickets available for the June concert series. Ticket sales start on Thursday 31 March.
