ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER’S HAUTE COUTURE IS A TAILORING MASTERY

Leaving the colourful statement pieces behind in Spring/Summer, Vauthier decided to focus this season on cut, construction and execution. In the world full of noise and harshness, Vauthier is yearning for a balance and sense of foundation, which plays perfectly on his ability to connect to the current situation we all live in. Coming from this moment of realisation, he opts for shades of black and dark tones combined with sharp silhouettes. Slender and elongated, he experiments with different types of draping, unexpected asymmetries and volumes. The collection is just yet another proof of Vauthier’s mastery of tailoring.
