ACROMATYX, under the creative direction of Xavi García and Franx de Cristal, has presented the 005 TECHNO collection at the 79th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, becoming part, for the first time, of the official calendar of the consecrated designers of the Madrid catwalk.

In this collection, designers approach their proposal from a rigid, elegant and avant-garde aesthetic. Jackets and coats without flaps in fitted or straight silhouettes; overlay of garments and color jumpsuits; an ode to oversize that reflects the DNA of the brand thanks to pieces that identify a new way of understanding inclusive fashion, without labels.

“We were children when the music of the future, electronic music, TECHNO began to attract us. A music that has inspired us and continues to do so because TECHNO is not just a music, it is a feeling, a way of looking forward and a CULTURE,” say Xavi García and Franx de Cristal, creative directors of ACROMATYX.

The whole proposal is dyed black to find different textures in this color through classic or new generation fabrics, mostly from remnants of stocks and from distributors of sustainable and recycled fabrics such as RECOVO. Cold wool, cloth, poplin and organic cotton stand out in the first part of the show to incorporate the most nocturnal looks, recycled nylon, liquid metal, silk, gauze and sequins.

In the collection, a very special necklace stands out because of what it hides. It is a chocker necklace with the word Together, written with the iconic typography of David Delfin, made in collaboration with the jewelry firm Jane Bardot. A piece with which the designers have wanted to pay tribute to the designer who always encouraged them to believe in their project. The show has been attended, among others, by artists such as María León, Alex de la Croix, Miren Ibarguren, Pepón Nieto, Susi Caramelo, Unax Ugalde, Hugaceo Crujiente, Carmen Farala, Jota Castellano, Mónica Morán, Eduardo Navarrete, La Terremoto de Alcorcón, Moises Nieto and Laura Ponte.
