Our recent evening at Nela in Zuidas Amsterdam was a culinary symphony, where the shared dining concept crafted by chefs Hari Shetty and Ori Geller transformed our dinner into a personalized culinary journey. It added a friendly touch, allowing us to explore and savor more dishes, making the evening even more enjoyable.

The live fire cooking technique infused each dish with a unique flavor, creating a memorable palate experience. We highly recommend pairing the crispy zucchini with charred cucumber tzatziki and a refreshing Sauvignon Blanc, and savoring the grilled scallops with potato cream alongside a buttery Chardonnay for a culinary adventure that delights the senses.

The diverse menus, along with the cozy yet elegant interior design, showcased meticulous attention to detail. Whether seated at the Chef’s kitchen counter or enjoying cocktails on the terrace, every moment felt personal and authentic.

Speaking of cocktails, the selection at Nela is extraordinary! The Smoked Cherry, with Mezcal, Aperol, Maraschino liqueur, and lime, and the Chinotto Collins were exceptional and added an extra layer of delight to our evening.

The ambiance exuded sophistication and warmth, creating an authentic dining experience. The staff went beyond professionalism; they were genuine, kind, and welcoming. Needless to say, we’ve already planned our next visit to Nela—proof that a fantastic culinary adventure is worth repeating! Cheers to more shared moments and delightful flavors at Nela!
