For this twenty-first round, Jean Touitou and Jessica Ogden drew inspiration from the works of Anni and Josef Albers, whose abstract and experimental art was notably influenced by the precept of “beauty in utility”.

Fascinated by Andean cultures, the Albers borrowed shapes and motifs from Inca and Pre-Columbian art, now interpreted by Jessica Ogden on the pieces of this round. Jean Touitou named each quilt in reference to the rich and singular universe of the Albers.

Available from March 30th.
